My idea for the possible future road link UK/NL

An idea for the possible future road/rail link between the UK & the Netherlands!

I read reports that in the next 20 years or so, the capacity of the channel tunnel and the dover-calais ferry will be at crisis point because there is no other link between the UK and mainland Europe! The pressure needs to be taken off and it will be a matter of time until a decision is made for something like this. The UK & NL can learn from Sweden and Denmark in terms of the Oresund Road & Rail bridge.

I think that, geographically it would be a good choice....from the most easterly point of the UK to Holland. Linking the UK to Holland would make life so much easier for transporting goods, services and people to get into mainland Europe and quicker for toruists, by car and rail to visit London, better access to Germany and other countries in that part of the EU....in stead of the long way round via France and Belgium.....things like this would have to be thought about and considered
